[jira] [Created] (PROTON-1896) Python binding doesn't work
correctly with IPv6 literals on python 2.6.6
Andrew Stitcher created PROTON-1896:
---------------------------------------
Summary: Python binding doesn't work correctly with IPv6 literals on python 2.6.6
Key: PROTON-1896
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/PROTON-1896
Project: Qpid Proton
Issue Type: Bug
Components: python-binding
Affects Versions: proton-c-0.24.0
Environment: python 2.6.6, RHEL 6 or CentOS 6
Reporter: Andrew Stitcher
Assignee: Andrew Stitcher
This is because the urlparse class under python 2.6.6 doesn't correctly parse hostname from netloc.
