These concerns, like {{maximumBackoff}} and {{checkpointsLockWaitTime}} are now configurable in {{LockBasedScheduler}}. For the moment, the tests should be changed to work with the current scheduler, but in the future, with the introduction of new scheduler types, they might become obsolete as well.
