[jira] Closed: (WOOKIE-37) Make wookie to conform to W3C Widgets API

Scott Wilson closed WOOKIE-37.
------------------------------

       Resolution: Fixed
    Fix Version/s: (was: 0.8.3)
                   0.8.1

This work is now completed; there is a conformance test script at src-tests/conformance/WidgetInterface.java

The only two remaining test cases not fully passed seem to be issues related to the tests themselves rather than a problem with the implementation

> There have been some changes to the Widget JS object defined in W3C Widgets. To conform to this requires changes in quite a few places:
> - the Wookie-Wrapper.js script
> - separating widget prefs and metadata models
> - supporting read-only preferences
> - removing unused methods and properties removed in the last version of the spec, e.g. viewmodes
> - test cases in the testing widget
