display message in browser test results

I am using ServletTestRunner for testing.

When I use 

junit.framework.Assert.fail("error in xyz");

I am able to display "error in xyz" in testresults in browser produced
by ServletTestRunner. 

I want to display message in browser without calling fail() method.

Can you suggest me method which will only display message like fail()
method?

Please help me...
