5.2 release branch created
The 5.2 branch has been created -
https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/lucene/dev/branches/lucene_solr_5_2/
@Tim Potter: I know you want to get SOLR-7582 in and you'd mentioned to me
about it. feel free to commit that change to the branch.
If there's anything else that someone feels must go in with this release,
please take a judgement call while also considering the ramifications of
such a commit (if any).
*Bug fixes* that aren't huge or complex and/or fix a critical bug are fine.
Let's play nice with the release branch. :)
I plan on creating the RC sometime on Monday/Tuesday.

I haven't looked at the issue/patch but if you think that it's
non-invasive, please go ahead and commit it.

+1 on that. Low regression risk + high performance improvement = totally

I have one more minor change to SOLR-6820 (which is already in the 5.2
branch), but I was waiting on some feedback before increasing the
default number of version buckets for the Solr UpdateLog. That fix is
in and I would like to commit that change, risk of regression is near
nil and the benefit is faster indexing performance ;-)
