Mutual exclusion

Is there a way to specify in a <junit> forked task to only run one test at a
time?  I am using the <batchtest> junit task and also enabling fork for each
test due to VM resource issues, but it seems that Ant is calling tests
simultaneously, which is causing problems for my tests.
