Spamscore impeding sending comments to mailing list

Are there any hints how to write emails to the mailing list in order to
avoid being considered spam (despite the typical spam words). May the
number/ time ratio (just x emails per x minutes) be important?

I just sent an email to the mailing list getting a "552 552 spam score (5.8)
exceeded threshold (state 18)." error message back.
