   This plugin will only work with Excel files from Excel 2007 or greater.  (The XML Excel files).  This does do data type detection, however with limits.  All numeric columns are interpreted as doubles.  
   If a column is recognized as a time, the plugin will map those to a Drill date/time column.  
   The plugin will execute formulas.
