Tomcat and postgres connection problem
Hi
I have tomcat and postgres installed and use servlets to access the
database. When restarting the servlets, I got an error saying that I have to run the
postmaster with the -i flag. So I modified postgres such that PGOPTS="-D
/home/data/db1 -i". However, when restarting the servlets again, I got the error
"too many clients". According to documents that I found on the web, I
modified postgres again such that
PGOPTS="-D /home/data/db1 -i -B 256 -N 64"
Now, I don't get the "too many clients error anymore, but a
java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused.
Can anyone help me how can I get rid of those errors without producing any
others :-)
Thanks a lot... Silvia
