Summary: Are Apache projects allowed to ship mysql-jdbc-connector in binary convenience releases?
Key: LEGAL-200
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/LEGAL-200
Project: Legal Discuss
Issue Type: Question
Reporter: Jakob Frank
The mysql-jdbc-connector is GPLv2 [1, 2], but has a FOSS License Exception [3].
Does this exception allow Apache projects to bundle the binary of the mysql-jdbc-connector within a convenience binary?
