Iplanet web server 4.1 startup problem

Hi
I installed Iplanet Web Server 4.1 with SP 14.
I had configured the ports.
I did
https-admserv]./start
iPlanet-WebServer-Enterprise/4.1SP14 BB1-01/15/2004 13:04
startup: listening to http://PRD03.DOMAIN1 <http://prd03.domain1/>, port
9000 as osadmin
I could get the manage to start the manage server.
I did for the Web Server
https-PRD03.DOMAIN1]./start
iPlanet-WebServer-Enterprise/4.1SP14 BB1-01/15/2004 13:04
startup: listening to http://PRD03.DOMAIN1 <http://prd03.domain1/>, port
8000 as osadmin
https-PRD03.DOMAIN1]
I went to the ManagerServer.There I found my server off. I switched it on.
Its saying succesfully started.
But when I see the first page..the status is always off.
And I also tried doing ./stop
https-PRD03.DOMAIN1]./stop
server not running
https-PRD03.DOMAIN1]
So, I think the server started but immediately stopped.
Please mail me your suggestions regarding this.

And this has what to do with Tomcat?
