[jira] Commented: (SMX4-514) Need a Netty bundle in Servicemix 4/Karaf to facilitate installation of the recently added camel-netty component

Ashwin Karpe commented on SMX4-514:
-----------------------------------

Hi Jean-Baptiste,

I just realized that the Netty jar is already an OSGi bundle and need not be wrapped as an OSGi bundle in SMX4. Would it be possible to revert this fix in SVN.

Sorry about the inconvenience.

Cheers,

Ashwin...

> I have recently developed and committed a camel-netty component to the Apache Camel code stream. I have also created a features patch for Apache Karaf to be able to deploy the camel-netty component to the SMX4/Karaf OSGI container.
> Please see the link https://issues.apache.org/activemq/browse/CAMEL-2596.
> At this time, in order to be able install this component, I need to make Netty bundle available in Servicemix.
> I am attaching a couple of patches to be applied to the Servicemix code stream under smx4/all and the smx4/bundles/trunk
