The Board needs to accept the resolution to move to the Attic, at its

Ok, if there is something you would like to contribute to SVN yourself,
feel free, I created a /docs folder under site for a few pages. I plan to
mostly focus on the "Rich Clients" for Java and .NET but if you should not
have enough time, happy to help e.g. putting a screenshot there myself or
links to the sources.

Not really, as it doesn't make sense on that website. We can definitely
point to the source code - a build can also generate the demo pages.

BrowserMap is also currently on the VM, that'll die (they should shut it
down and we remove the link) once it is archived.
I never looked at it in greater detail, but if it is all JavaScript on a
static HTML page, would you like to have it on the site instead, too?

About the paragraph that offers subscribing to the dev mailing list, was
that still possible for archived projects?
Otherwise I'd remove the sentence and only point to the archive.

Working on it this week. After we vote, how many days or weeks till
everything becomes read only?
I only contribute to documentation so people can use the clients based on
what's there, e.g. having to adjust the device data source because the VM
should be gone (it makes little sense for an archived project now that most
recent data is in the download folder) http://devicemap.apache.org/docs/
should offer a few pages for .NET and Java.
As the /site will also become read only in the attic, I would like to get
the docs in order to leave the site in a useful state.
I was planning to do it this week or weekend, unless the actual shutdown
requires a little more time (e.g. till the next Board Meeting) then I can
also vote immediately.
