Houston Putman updated SOLR-16262:
----------------------------------
Summary: Make sure Search Engines only know about most recent version of a page (was: Fix Robots headers for old ref guide pages)
> Make sure Search Engines only know about most recent version of a page
> ----------------------------------------------------------------------
>
> Key: SOLR-16262
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-16262
> Project: Solr
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: documentation
> Reporter: Houston Putman
> Assignee: Houston Putman
> Priority: Major
> Time Spent: 20m
> Remaining Estimate: 0h
>
> We have a htaccess rules generated to make sure that old versions of ref guide pages are not indexed by search engines, that way users will get the latest version of the documentation when they search. The syntax is wrong however and it does work, but only small changes are needed luckily!
