[jira] Created: (INFRA-1267) Add favicon to mirror root.
Add favicon to mirror root.
---------------------------
Key: INFRA-1267
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-1267
Project: Infrastructure
Issue Type: Improvement
Security Level: public (Regular issues)
Components: Mirrors
Reporter: Gavin
Priority: Minor
For the benefit of reducing mirror maintainers log files mainly, but also keeps that Apache feel, it would be nice if someone could just drop the apache feather as a favicon.ico file in the mirror root dir.

Gavin commented on INFRA-1267:

That's fair enough, we can note the restricted success of this somewhere sometime.
I'm pretty sure I don't have access to do this, can someone do this or give me access to do it.
Thanks
Gav...

Joshua Slive commented on INFRA-1267:
-------------------------------------
I don't have a particular objection to this, but note that it will only make a difference on the subset of mirrors that are rooted at the top level directory of their webserver.

Resolution: Fixed
Alright, I don't see the harm of it, so I copied the favicon.ico from www.apache.org/ into dist/.
