.classpath
Hi Tom,
I have my ddl-utils dependencies set on export in eclipse (project
properties/Java Build Path/Order and Export), so I don't have to add the
dependencies of ddl-utils to other projects in eclipse. Any problems if
I commit that ?

Committed. Btw I think my commit mails are in the modeation queue (if there is one).
Shall I ask infrastructure to add me as a moderator for user and dev list ?

I sometimes have trouble finding a balance between using the right amount of words :)

I see ! Actually I haven't used these before, but can see that they
are beneficial. Please, go ahead and check your changes in !

You probably read over the instructions in both mails.. Do project
properties, Java Build Path, Order and Export and check some jars..
A current .classpath entry :
<classpathentry kind="lib" path="lib/commons-digester-1.7.jar"/>
After the change it will look like :
<classpathentry exported="true" kind="lib"
path="lib/commons-digester-1.7.jar"/>

So if I understand you correctly, what you're proposing is that
instead of jars, the DdlUtils project files shall contain project
dependencies to, say, commons-betwixt etc. ?
If yes, then I don't like it, as it prevents somebody from simply
checking out DdlUtils via Eclipse and using it, he first has to
download these dependcies as well and create Eclipse projects for them
(most do not have one).
If I did not understand you correctly, please give me a reference (eg.
how to enable these project dependencies in Eclispe).

If you use project dependencies in eclipse, you can say that you also
want the jars exported to those other projects, so you don't
specifically need to add them to that project. Most jars in project
properties/Java Build Path/Order and Export are checked in my environment.

I don't understand: what do you mean with "set on export" ?
