don't use master branch

Please don't use the master branch, but instead use the master-Apache
branch. This will form the basis of our master branch once INFRA can give
us a clean, empty git repo.

James, do you anticipate Phoenix will use a writable git repo instead of
svn once migration to Apache is complete?
