  The mission of the Project is simple: Provide commercial quality based
  implementations of the Java Servlet and JavaServer Pages
  specifications. These implementations will be delivered standalone and
  integrated with the Apache Web Server.

  All final releases of the Servlet and JSP implementations will conform
  to the latest versions of the Servlet and JavaServer Pages
  specifications available from Sun. The Servlet and JavaServer Pages
  specifications are defined and evolved through the Java Community
  Process.
