Develop a video course on Gluon with Packt
Hello Team,
I am Mandar Raorane, a Video Acquisition Editor at Packt Publishing. Packt has been in IT publishing for over a decade now and we have been providing our viewers with practical, friendly screencast tutorials on interesting technologies.
Hyunsu Cho shared your email Id's with me so that we could discuss this collaboration on developing a video course on Gluon. The course is titled "Getting Started with Gluon for Deep Learning"
Would you be interested in developing this course with us? I will provide more details about the process and payments later.

Sorry, I misread the email earlier and thought that it was coming to my

Hey Marco,
Thank you for your response. You're correct, I was looking for someone who could develop a full-fledged course(2 hours of video content on Gluon).
I would really appreciate it if you could share a name who would like to contribute to this project.
When I was looking through all that MXNet, I could see a community where you have a lot of developers working on a plethora of technologies. If there's a user in the community that you feel is the best candidate for this, I would love to work with him for a short course on Gluon.
I look at this as a start of a very good relationship between Packt and the MXNet community. Looking forward to hearing from you on this.

I think there is a misunderstanding. We as a project are always happy to be available to help with questions, but this sounds like you are trying to hire somebody as main author - this is slightly out of scope for our email list. If somebody is interested to be the main author, they will get in touch with you.
I personally am just a representative of the project, but I don't have the time nor the possibilities to help you to such an extent.

I have attached the course specification for your reference, which will give you the idea of the contents. Our next step is to make the table of contents i.e. the outline together. I am going to share our standard outline template with you to write the outline for this.
Let me give you more information on the advances and the process:-
Advance and Royalty
We pay a 16% royalty and an advance of $1500 against the royalties, which you will receive in three installments:
* Editorial acceptance of First Section = $450
* Editorial acceptance of Final Video = $450
* On publication of the Video Course = $600
The advance is designed to provide some minimum guaranteed compensation, and for you to start earning during the development of the course.
Once the course is published you will receive the share of royalties as well. Your course will not only be published on our website i.e. Packtpub.com but other partner channels like Udemy, Pluralsight, LinkedIn Learning, O'Reilly, Safari online and many others.
The duration of this course will be about 150 mins, with about 7 main sections consisting of around 5 videos (5 mins per video) in each section and the videos would be a pure screencasting experience. You can check out some sample videos on our YouTube channel<https://www.youtube.com/user/packt1000>. The development time would be around 4 months once we begin the recordings.
In addition to our website, we have developed a large network of secondary channels where we distribute and market our videos. These include the following channels:
