[jira] [Created] (FLUME-947) Implement failover agent
Implement failover agent
------------------------
Key: FLUME-947
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FLUME-947
Project: Flume
Issue Type: New Feature
Components: Sinks+Sources
Affects Versions: NG alpha 2
Reporter: Kathleen Ting
It would be helpful if flume-ng had the ability to failover to a different agent i.e. if an agent service stops running, another agent should take over.
This involves knowing when an agent is in standby mode, and when it is supposed to be leading.
