[jira] [Commented] (NIFI-1092) Apply validators where possible for property descriptors using expression language

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NIFI-1092?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=17141143#comment-17141143 ]

Dennis Jaheruddin commented on NIFI-1092:
-----------------------------------------

This issue still seems open, may become more important given that we are putting more emphasis on not hardcoding things in Nifi, but using expressions, parameters and variables.

I was able to set my kafka broker to any of these without warning, which does not feel right as each of them is quite obviously invalid:

Extra bracket:

${filename:toUpper())}

Missing accolades:

$\{hello

#{hello
