The 2.7.0 version of xerces does not have solution/project files for the latest MSDEV compiler tools which alleviates the need for the 6.0 MFC libraries. The addition should be simple. I have the complete set of files for inclusion based off the VC7.1 variant.

These are the changes I used to migrate the project/solution files to use VC8.0 (Developer Studio 2005). All targets were successfully built. Please include them to the source as seen fit.
