Rahul Challapalli commented on DRILL-858:
-----------------------------------------

Querying against any table in INFORMATION_SCHEMA is giving the same problem.

> Following the below steps can reproduce the error. I attached the lilith logs and data files to the jira
> git.commit.id.abbrev=70fab8c
> hive> DROP TABLE IF EXISTS rankings;
> CREATE EXTERNAL TABLE rankings (
>     pageRank INT,
>     pageURL STRING,
>     avgDuration INT
> )
> ROW FORMAT DELIMITED FIELDS
> TERMINATED BY '|'
> STORED AS TEXTFILE LOCATION "/drill/testdata/views/hive/rankings/";
> CREATE VIEW v1 AS SELECT * FROM RANKINGS;
> drill> select * from INFORMATION_SCHEMA.`TABLES`;
> Note : There could be a lag between creating a view in hive and drill picking it up. So we might need to wait for sometime before hitting the error
