thrift 0.6.0 gem

I just noticed the thrift 0.6.0 gem hasn't made it yet on rubygems.org yet.

https://rubygems.org/gems/thrift

Anybody could upload it?

AW: thrift 0.6.0 gem

Hi ruby geeks!

We still have an issue with ruby on our Jenkins continuous integration
server.
See https://hudson.apache.org/hudson/job/Thrift/

I'm not familiar with ruby and created an issue to describe the problem:
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/THRIFT-987

I would really like to have all languages and the related unit test on our
continuous integration server.
Our environment on the build server is:
https://hudson.apache.org/hudson/job/Thrift-env-test/

Any hints on that? Do we need to bootstrap a dedicated ruby environment
before we build?

Thanks!
roger

It looks like I'll need to do some work to make this doable by people
other than me. I'll get to it when I can, but it'll probably be a few
weeks.

Yes, other languages have specific release requirements as well, e.g. Java
users would like to have thrift available via maven.

I've tried to list all that information on
http://wiki.apache.org/thrift/HowToVersion
Would be great if you could update the relevant info's about ruby there.

And some info to how to publish a release?:
http://wiki.apache.org/thrift/HowToRelease

thanks

I'd be happy to update that with instructions on how to release the rubygem.
Do any other languages have specific release requirements?

I'd be happy to update that with instructions on how to release the
rubygem. Do any other languages have specific release requirements?

Hey Guys

Could you please update http://wiki.apache.org/thrift/HowToRelease and
optionally http://wiki.apache.org/thrift/HowToVersion
To describe the procedure required to deploy these libraries?

Thanks

As it happens, the haskell bindings haven't been pushed to cabal either.
I'll get that fixed today.
