Server CPU requirements for svnserve?

We're setting up a SVN server to hold relatively large datasets
(10-20GB, of which maybe 10-60MB regularly changes). 8 clients
simultaneously updating themselves to a particular revision (over a
LAN). Each client has checked-out a different subdirectory (so they're
not getting identical data).

For the server, would a dual-core Atom 1.8GHZ CPU with 4GB RAM be
plenty / adequate / pitiful for that kind of situation?

Sounds plentiful to me. Where you probably want to spend your money more than anything else for a Subversion server is fast (and of course reliable) disks. Maybe even SSDs.
