wuxun-zhang opened a new issue #15057: Type inconsistent error when running C++ inference script on quantized models
URL: https://github.com/apache/incubator-mxnet/issues/15057

   ## Description
When I ran C++ inference script with quantized models, there always have a type inconsistent issue. Also current C++ script didn't support performance benchmark for int8/fp32 models which is not aligned with Python implementation.

[12:52:10] inception_inference.cpp:163: Loading the model parameters from ./model/mobilenet1.0-quantized-0000.params

[12:52:10] inception_inference.cpp:212: Load the mean image data that will be used to normalize the image before running forward pass.
[12:52:10] inception_inference.cpp:438: **Execution failed with ERROR: Error in operator quantized_sg_mkldnn_fully_connected_0: Type inconsistent, Provided = float32, inferred type = int8**

   ## Minimum reproducible example
You can refer to this [README](https://github.com/apache/incubator-mxnet/blob/master/cpp-package/example/inference/README.md) to run C++ inference. Quantized models can be generated according to this [flow](https://github.com/apache/incubator-mxnet/blob/master/example/quantization/README.md) .

   ## Steps to reproduce
When you have already built [inception_inference](https://github.com/apache/incubator-mxnet/blob/master/cpp-package/example/inference/inception_inference.cpp) and prepared the quantized model, you can run `./inception_inference --symbol "./model/mobilenet1.0-quantized-5batches-naive-symbol.json" --params "./model/mobilenet1.0-quantized-0000.params" --mean "./model/mean_224.nd" --synset "./model/synset.txt" --image "./model/dog.jpg"` to reproduce the issue.

   ## What have you tried to solve it?

   1. This [PR](https://github.com/apache/incubator-mxnet/pull/15038) was already filed to fix the above type inconsistent error.
   2. We are also going to improve the performance benchmark of C++ inference in the future PR.
