Retested on 3.1M4 - issue is still there, though behavior is bit different:
If several consecutive paste operations of different entities are made, modeler treats it as single action and undoes all of them at once. Also if Redo is pressed it will make first copy-pasted entity appear as "CopyofCopy..."
