Clarification on Start sequence in AegisDataBinding

If I do;

AegisDatabinding binding = new AegisDatabinding();
AegisContext context = binding.getAegisContext();

the ensureInitialized() is called, but then when the initialize(
Service s ) is called later, the AegisContext is recreated.

Is this a bug, or expected behavior??
