[jira] [Created] (YARN-2532) Track pending resources at the
application level
Karthik Kambatla created YARN-2532:
--------------------------------------
Summary: Track pending resources at the application level
Key: YARN-2532
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/YARN-2532
Project: Hadoop YARN
Issue Type: Improvement
Components: scheduler
Affects Versions: 2.5.1
Reporter: Karthik Kambatla
Assignee: Karthik Kambatla
SchedulerApplicationAttempt keeps track of current consumption of an app. It would be nice to have a similar value tracked for pending requests.
The immediate uses I see are: (1) Showing this on the Web UI (YARN-2333) and (2) updating demand in FS in an event-driven style (YARN-2353)
