when sending a request with a null body ( it was GET request in my case)
I got the following exception.

after investigating the issue I found that because the body is null - the request is created with type DefaultHttpRequest and not DefaultFullHttpRequest which is created when there is a body

this causes the HttpObjectEncoder to stay in a wrong state after the request is sent, because of this code:

 if (msg instanceof LastHttpContent) {
      state = ST_INIT;
}

so the next request will fail with the exception.
the workaround is simple - use an empty string as body

also - this did not happen in camel-netty-http
