- description: `TOPIC_CHANNEL_FACTORY.get(topic).remove(channel)` dereferences the `get` result. `ConcurrentHashMap.get` returns null for an absent topic → NPE in the ForkJoinPool worker.
- impact: Unsubscribe from absent topics throws NPE; client never receives UNSUBACK.
- suggested_fix: Use `getOrDefault(topic, Collections.emptyList())` or null-check.
- confidence: High
