jaxrpc Lifecycle interface ?

Hi,

I have noticed that the jaxrpc references the
Lifecycle interface with the init and destroy methods.
This interface is defined in Axus but seems to be
never used by the org.... implementation.
Is it the case ? Isn't it the best way to pass
parameters or other config parameters ?
