[jira] [Commented] (UIMA-5783) Update website for GDPR (disabling potentially problematic features)

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/UIMA-5783?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=16493278#comment-16493278 ]

Richard Eckart de Castilho commented on UIMA-5783:
--------------------------------------------------

I commented out GA and Twitter and also related parts form the privacy policy. However, I used "only" XML comments. It seems that Velocity does not strip these when generating the final HTML, so somebody viewing the source code of the pages would still see the stuff. This is not really a problem, but if anybody knows how to "properly" comment stuff out, it might be better to use that and have "clean" HTML pages.
