OpenOffice.org Calc Shortcut in windows Program folder poorly named.

Nameing the shortcut for the Spreadsheet app "Calc" is problematic on Windows 7
for a couple reasons:

1. I install open office for a lot of people (most barely computer literate)
and if I don't change the name to OpenOffice.org Spreadsheet, they think that
open office doesn't have a Spread Sheet.

2. People often go to Start | Type in Calc and hit enter, expected the windows
calculator to open. Instead, Calc now brings up a spreadsheet and this is
annoying.

3. There is inconsistancy because when opening just the OpenOffice.org
shortcut, you get no option for Calc, instead you get an option for a Spread
Sheet. So which is it? A calc or a spreadsheet? If Spreadsheet is used there,
it should be used for the shortcut too.

Spreadsheet.

Hello

This is named Calc for the data type
can be confusing when looking for the calculator but Calc function is to create
a database, it is not the function of a calculator. Can be frustrating but
needs to learn to identifying them.
You can change the name if desired
1. Locate the CALC
2. Right-click on it.
3. On the General tab you can change the name to Spreadsheet.
Now no longer appears when you type calc

I've confirmed part of your claim.

OS: Win 7
OfficeVersion: 3.4.1

The launcher gives the option to create a "spreadsheet" and the program that
actually houses the spreadsheet is called "calc". The inconsistency would
easily be confusing for a newbie computer user. I work at an IT helpdesk, and
little things like this trip up clients easily.

I often type "calc" into the start menu to start calculator of course, and even
with the install, Windows still opens Calculator and I was unable to replicate
it picking OpenOffice Calc.
