dbconnection in web.xml

for my database connection, 
I define jndi Datasources in the server xml file using DBCP
and everything works fine.

I would like to define the required parameters needed in xml config file.
use an xml parser to load the file and create my DataSources in a an 
context
so that I could retrieve DataSources as if configurations was done in 
server.xml .

If someone has a suggestion.
