undocumented commands (?) - escape_string and friends

Hey y'all,

Just poking around, I can't find the docs for unescape_string, 
escape_string, escape_sgml_chars, and escape_shell_command.

Nice stuff from NeoWebScript, and I note that someone coverted them 
from old-style string-oriented commands to new-style object commands.
