jbi endpoints

How can I define a partnerlink with a jbi endpoint? All I seem to find are
older versions of the deployment descriptor file. I have a service foo:test
and I would like to consume that service with an invoke from my process.
What are the steps to do this? I know this may be documented but I couldn't
find it.
