[jira] [Resolved] (MAPREDUCE-5697) My MapReduce program read .gz
packets from HDFS, but if one of the packets is incorrect, the program will
throw exception, then job will stop.

Resolution: Invalid
Not sure if this is a real bug or not. In any case, please first try to resolve user issues in the user mailing lists (http://hadoop.apache.org/mailing_lists.html).
The JIRA is a place to address existing bugs/new features in the project. Closing this for now as Invalid. Thanks.
