--------------------------------

    Resolution: Won't Fix

The deploy plugin should do one thing well, and one thing only and that's deploy.

Use a repository manager to do snapshot cleanup, they all do it. Or make a simple plugin to do it.

> Add option to delete old snapshots from repository during deployment.

> The deploy plugin should be able to delete old snapshots, maybe older than a certain date, or retain a certain maximum number of builds in the snapshot repository. This would prevent the need for some of the current repository maintenance.
