tysonnorris opened a new pull request #3497: allow singleton (active/passive) and replicated pools in invoker
URL: https://github.com/apache/incubator-openwhisk/pull/3497

<!--- Provide a concise summary of your changes in the Title -->
To support a cluster-aware deployment, the ContainerPool in invoker needs to a) be able to operate as a singleton with failover and b) be able to track state of containers within the cluster on all nodes

   ## Description
This PR provides both, so that multiple invokers can be deployed while:
   * a single invoker is consuming from the invokers' topic (all invokers share the same topic)
   * in case of a failover, ContainerFactory impls have the opportunity to resurrect the ContainerPool freePool and prewarmPool, so that existing usable containers will remain usable.
