Marc Pellmann created NIFI-9226:
-----------------------------------
Summary: Corrupt repository prevents NiFi from starting
Key: NIFI-9226
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NIFI-9226
Project: Apache NiFi
Issue Type: Bug
Components: Core Framework
Affects Versions: 1.13.2
Environment: Linux
Reporter: Marc Pellmann
The server on which Nifi was running was switched off or shut down. Now data in WriteAheadLocalStateProvider is broken and NiFi does not start anymore. The server on which Nifi was running was switched off or shut down. Now data in WriteAheadLocalStateProvider is broken and NiFi does not start anymore.
If I delete the repository directories, NiFi starts again with no erros.
According to the information in https://nifi.apache.org/docs/nifi-docs/html/nifi-in-depth.html#EffectSystemFailure my expectation would be that this condition does not occur.
