Should I switch to tomcat 4.0

Hi everyone,

I haven't been doing any server side java development for a while, so I
installed tomcat to get to do some development on it every now and then
as not to forget and stay updated. Which version do you recommend, I
don't wanna use tomcat 3.3 and then discover that the new specifications
are much different, should I switch to Tomcat 4.0?

Thanks,

Tarek Nabil

The spec is backward compatible, so everything that run on 3.x should run on
4.0, but it's not true otherwise... Depends for how long you want to be tied
to the old spec and not require the nice amount of new features of Servlet
2.3
