Hadoop AWS for s3a upgrade release

Hi, I see that the hadoop-aws library depends on aws 1.7.4 in the last
release.
As it's already upgraded to 1.10.6 in master, is there a way to know when
will we have a new 2.6x release?
Turns out I'm using a relatively new aws service that didn't exist in
1.7.4, if there's no release in the near future I'll start making my own
aws-sdk.
