[jira] [Created] (AMBARI-782) Make RPM package builds honor Ruby's
sitelibdir
Jos Backus created AMBARI-782:
---------------------------------
Summary: Make RPM package builds honor Ruby's sitelibdir
Key: AMBARI-782
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AMBARI-782
Project: Ambari
Issue Type: Improvement
Reporter: Jos Backus
Priority: Trivial
Attachments: ambari-ruby-sitelibdir.patch
Currently RPMs are created with paths containing 1.8, which is the Ruby 1.8 library version. Since Ruby 1.8 is dying it makes sense to stop hardcoding this version and instead query the Ruby interpreter for it during the build.
