[jira] [Commented] (THRIFT-655) Make it possible to typedef a struct type

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/THRIFT-655?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13832615#comment-13832615 ]

Taras Tielkes commented on THRIFT-655:
--------------------------------------

I assume this is obsolete, since 0.91 will process an IDL file that is using typedefs for struct types?
On the other hand, the grammar at http://thrift.apache.org/docs/idl/ does not mention the possibility of referring to a struct type in a typedef, as far as I can see.
