[Bug 63713] New: mod_rewrite intro regex suggestion
https://bz.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=63713
Bug ID: 63713
Summary: mod_rewrite intro regex suggestion
Product: Apache httpd-2
Version: 2.4-HEAD
Hardware: PC
OS: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: Documentation
Assignee: docs@httpd.apache.org
Reporter: bill-apache@carpenter.org
Target Milestone: ---
On page https://httpd.apache.org/docs/current/rewrite/intro.html, there is a
section of regex vocabulary and a table of character meanings. I suggest that
you mention the backslash escape mechanism. It's used in some examples without
explanation.

Hi,
thx for spotting it. It has been fixed in trunk in r1866233 and in 2.4.x in
r1866240.
It will be visible online, the next time the corresponding html files are
generated.
