looks like this is handled automatically… See {{$debian_series}} in [prepare_release.sh|https://github.com/apache/cassandra-builds/blob/trunk/cassandra-release/prepare_release.sh] and and {{$repo_series}} in [finish_release.sh|https://github.com/apache/cassandra-builds/blob/trunk/cassandra-release/finish_release.sh]
