In {{CassandraDaemon.stopNativeTransport()}} {{nativeTransportService}} is set to {{null}} and when {{CassandraDaemon.startNativeTransport()}} is called the exception is thrown. By adding a call to {{CassandraDaemon.initializeNativeTransport()}} before calling {{CassandraDaemon.startNativeTransport()}} works but I'm not sure what the intention here is.
