Hadoop User Group Meeting
Hi Ajay,
Mahout has made quite a bit of progress since the Summit, with new
committers, new submissions and a new logo. Of note, Sean Owen has
submitted his Taste collaborative filtering system which is now in
trunk. We also had 4 student submissions approved for the GSoC. I'm
planning to attend the meeting and would be pleased to give a short
update. If there are any other Mahouts (Mahouters just doesn't sound
right :) that plan to be in the audience I'd be happy to give them a
chance to present too, but I'm not yet aware of any with plans to
attend. I've cross-posted to the list to check.
