I have a bit more time next week, I would go for it. 
Just a few questions:

What version of Jetty should we use?
Are there licensing problems?
How do I add this to the POM.xml? (Somewhere under the dependency branch?)

How much information should the frontend for the master contain? 
How much information should the page for a task contain?
Should we put a webserver on each groom?

Should we just c&p from Hadoop?:D
